Career Services
Mission statement: To engage students and alumni with Career Services to expand their current network and connect with alumni to gain valuable skills to apply towards your professional career.
Career Services offers a safe and community-based program that uses both co-curricular and experiential activities to enhance the overall unique Haskell experience.
Our goal is to assist students and alumni to explore the student’s career interests using various sources such as personal inventories, career interest inventories, academic interests, and career development resource materials. Career Counseling and guidance are available to all students and alumni.
Internships, workshops, career fairs, and related activities are available to help guide the students to continue their education at Haskell, transfer, enter the job market or further their education at the graduate school level.
Career Services provides the opportunity for the student to expand or develop their resumes, practice mock one-on-one or panel interviews, create their professional interview attire, and accomplish a local and national job search. Graduate School searches are also explored along with recommendations for the GMAT, GRE, LSAT, and MCAT materials and testing processes. Guidance with the graduate school personal statement is also available along with advice on the curriculum vitae.
The student is provided with a checklist of tasks that will advise the student on the career planning process and successful job search strategies.
