LAWRENCE, KS (November 5, 2025) — The Haskell Foundation is proud to announce the upcoming Haskell Athletics Fundraising Dinner, an evening dedicated to celebrating Indigenous excellence, community partnership, and the strength of Native student-athletes. The event will take place on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the KU Memorial Union Ballroom in Lawrence, Kansas.

The event, open to the public and welcoming both Native and non-Native attendees, will feature a three-course traditional dinner prepared by Chef Jason “The Native Chef,” cultural performances, student-athlete presentations, and a silent auction with exclusive items and experiences. Guests will also receive a complimentary ticket to the KU vs. Haskell Women’s Basketball Game the following evening, which will be broadcast live on ESPN+.

“Our student-athletes carry forward a proud legacy of strength, perseverance, and community,” said Dr. Kasey Flynt, Development Director of the Haskell Foundation. “This event is an opportunity for supporters, alumni, and community allies to come together in celebration and ensure these students have the resources they need to succeed on and off the field.”

The fundraising goal for the event is $50,000, with proceeds directly supporting Haskell Indian Nations University Athletics, including scholarships, athletic equipment, travel, and wellness programs.

A range of sponsorship levels is available, offering recognition and benefits for individuals, tribes, and businesses who wish to invest in Native student-athletes.

·       Platinum Sponsor ($50,000) — Includes exclusive “Official Sponsor of Haskell Basketball” designation, primary logo placement, on-stage recognition, and season-long athletic branding opportunities.

·       Gold Sponsor ($10,000) — Features two tables with priority seating, digital and print marketing recognition, and media spotlights.

·       Silver, Bronze, and Community Sponsors ($5,000–$1,000) — Include event tickets, logo placement, and public recognition throughout the event.

In addition to financial sponsorships, the Foundation welcomes silent auction donations, in-kind contributions, and scholarship naming opportunities.
