Haskell Women’s Basketball Headed to NAIA National Tournament

The Haskell Indian Nations University women’s basketball team has earned a berth in the 2026 NAIA Women’s Basketball National Championship following a championship run at the Continental Athletic Conference Tournament.

Haskell secured their spot in the national tournament after defeating Georgia Gwinnett College 66–56 in the CAC Championship game on March 1. The victory marks back-to-back conference titles for Haskell and sends the program to the national stage for the second consecutive season.

Haskell enters the national tournament as the No. 16 seed and will travel to Indianapolis for the NAIA Opening Round. Haskell is set to face host school and No. 1 seed Marian University in the opening round of the tournament pod.
The 64-team national championship begins with First and Second Round contests at host sites across the country before teams advance to the tournament’s final site.

Several Haskell student-athletes were recognized for their performances during the conference tournament. Myona Dauphinais was named the CAC tournament Most Outstanding Player, while Ivy Fox and Tierzah Penn earned All-Tournament honors. Fox was also named the CAC Newcomer of the Year and First Team All-Conference, while Dauphinais earned First Team All-Conference recognition.

Haskell enters the national tournament with momentum after capturing the conference title on the road and continuing the program’s strong run in the CAC. Haskell will look to carry that energy into postseason play as they represent both the conference and the Haskell community on the national stage.
