Title 3 Part (Academics)-Strengthening Minority Institution

Program Title:  Haskell Indian Nations University:  Continuous Improvement on Student Success and Academic Achievement.

Purpose: The University has developed the 2025 Focus Plan, which will direct the University in the coming years in its navigation of the Higher Learning Commission’s recommendations. The Title 3 funding will create and expand a higher education learning community that will embrace and support students, faculty, staff, administrators, and the communities it serves.  Haskell University will build upon the concept of continuous improvement in all academic and support areas, including creating and implementing innovative curriculum, distance learning, and student support services.  This goal is designed for student success and achievement, creating a place where students belong and will thrive in their education endeavors.  There are three (3) primary themes that are aligned with the 2025 Focus Plan and continuous improvements in student services and academics.  1)Student Assessment and Services, 2) Academic Spaces, 3) Academic, Student Support, and Faculty development. The Title 3 Academic Program will provide an environment that will improve student retention and graduation.
