The Media Communications program provides an associate of arts degree emphasis. The department introduces students to various forms of media production and gives practical experience in digital photography, television production, and mass media.

Mission: The Media Communications Associate degree introduces various forms of media production. From writing to digital photography to video production, the students will learn hands on techniques used by professional media people. The program will also prepare students to go into a journalism program or broadcast internship if they so choose
