With a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, nine years of experience teaching in the public-school systems and several years working in healthcare during the pandemic, Kylee brings a wealth of knowledge to the higher education community.
Kylee has a variety of experience while working at Haskell Indian Nations University. She has spent most of her career helping students navigate sexual misconduct but also has experience in advising and admissions.
While in her role as the Campus Advocate Coordinator, Kylee hopes to provide the following to the Haskell Indian Nations University student body:
- Coordinate Haskell’s compliance with Executive Order 13160 with a focus on staff training
- Incorporate education and prevention curriculum across campus
- Provide supportive measures to students involved in Haskell’s sexual misconduct process with a focus on resources for students’ immediate needs (medical, mental, residential, academic)
- Investigate and resolve sexual misconduct related incidents with a focus on due process rights, campus safety, and reporting processes
- Use modern research and university trends in our prevention and response effort
Outside of the workplace, you will find Kylee waking up early for a morning walk with her dog and spending the evenings and weekends watching her children compete in sports. She enjoys anything outdoors and watching college and professional sports games.
