Program Description

Do you want to inspire your community to be healthier or become health advocate for change?  Haskell is a place where you can get started. Our associate’s degree prepares you for roles focused on improving health within your home community. Our curriculum includes health education, health promotion, and an understanding of community resources using cultural awareness through multiple perspectives.

Degree Planning

To earn an Associates of Science degree in Community Health all the following must be completed:

  • Completion of the General Education Program Requirements (33 credit hours).
  • Completion of the HSES Foundation Requirements (11 credit hours).
  • Completion of Community Health Emphasis Requirements (16 credit hours).
