Recreation and Fitness Management
Program Description
Does managing a recreation or fitness program interest you? Or do you like designing fitness and performance programs for individuals? Haskell is for you. Our associate’s degree program provides the foundational knowledge and skills for careers in the recreation and fitness industry, focusing on both program management and fitness principles. The curriculum includes an understanding of exercise programming and implementation, fitness assessments, and operation of a recreation and fitness facility.

Degree Planning
To earn an Associate of Science degree in Recreation and Fitness Management the following must be completed:
- Completion of the General Education Program Requirements (33 credit hours).
- Completion of the HSES Foundation Requirements (11 credit hours).
- Completion of Recreation and Fitness Management Emphasis Requirements (16 credit hours).
