Program Description

Do you have a passion for a career in coaching sports, exercise and wellness or studying physical activity? Haskell has a program just for you. The associate of science degree in health, sport, and exercise science will prepare you for a potential career in fitness and sports sciences. The curriculum includes foundational coursework in coaching, kinesiology, motor control, and anatomy. Additionally, students will gain practical application and program design for athletics and exercise science.

Degree Planning

To earn an Associate of Science degree in Health, Sport, and Exercise Science the following must be completed:

  • Completion of the General Education Program Requirements (33 credit hours).
  • Completion of the HSES Foundation Requirements (11 credit hours).
  • Completion of Elective Self-Designed and/or Specific Tracks (16 credit hours).

The four tracks consist of:

  • Athletic Training
  • Coaching Training
  • Exercise Science
  • Sports Management
