VISION
To serve as the university’s central resource for data and analysis, empowering the university to drive strategic growth, support continuous improvement, and make informed decisions that enhance student success and institutional excellence, while ensuring compliance through accurate reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
MISSION
The Center for Institutional Effectiveness supports the university and its mission by providing data, information and analysis on student achievement and the university to support strategic planning initiatives, continuous improvement, and institutional data decision making at every level.

REQUEST FOR DATA and/or INFORMATION
Guidelines for Requesting Data or Information
The Center for Institutional Research (CIE) responds to requests for data and/or assistance. Here are some guidelines that may help you to clarify your request.
- Plan ahead. When making a request, take into account the time required to capture and report the information you are requesting, especially if you need the information by a specific date. Please allow at least TWO WEEKS for completion of your request.
- Identify the critical questions you want to answer. Be specific. Do you need undergraduate enrollment or total enrollment? And for what time period – Fall, Spring, Summer, current year, previous year? Do you want to track a variable over time? The more specific you are about the questions you are trying to answer, the more useful the information you receive will be.

Submit your request to CIE. Use the Request for data and/or assistance (link below) to complete your request.
Once your request form has been received and assigned, you may be contacted to discuss your request and clarify the specific information you need. Again, please allow at least two weeks for the completion of your request.
